BWTR 0011 - The Art of the Tart CORE Class with Chef Vince Pianalto
Course Description

What's the difference between a pie and a tart? Find out in this immersive, hands-on class with Chef Vince Pianalto, Brightwater's own baking and pastry instructor.
Participants will learn to make pâte brisée and pâte sucrée—the foundational doughs behind both savory and sweet tarts—along with silky pastry cream and a traditional egg custard for quiche. These are timeless techniques that may sound intimidating, but are really just fundamental baking skills that every home cook can master.
In class, you'll put those skills to work creating a beautiful fresh fruit tart and a roasted vegetable quiche, both prepared in the classic French tradition. Whether you're baking for a dinner party, a holiday gathering, or just for yourself, you'll leave with the confidence and know-how to recreate these elegant pastries at home. Come ready to learn, taste, and have fun!
